Far From It.

When normalcy is too much to ask for.
This is like Tienanmen Square — just 20 years later. My thoughts go to the people in Tehran—and throughout Iran, for that matter—who refuse to cede to the tyranny of the Ayatollah and his willing puppet, Ahmadinejad. Even if he won the election fairly, his response to the resulting protests (which screams fascism and dictatorship) illegitimizes his rule.
I am not hopeful enough to think that these protest will topple the current leadership of the Islamic Republic…but true democracy has to start somewhere.
